Our Projects

Driving community progress through sustainable development and support

Farafenni General Hospital Support

Recognizing urgent needs at Farafenni General Hospital, our charity donated vital materials, including beds, to the maternity ward and mortuary. With an investment of approximately D1.5M, we aim to improve conditions for pregnant women and enhance overall healthcare delivery.

Renovation of Farafenni Primary School

Farafenni Primary School in the past underwent significant renovations to address critical infrastructure needs. The Chaku Bantang Diaspora Network Association led the initiative, repairing classroom roofs, renovating toilets, and donating chairs and tables. This comprehensive project aimed to create a safer and more conducive learning environment for students and staff. With these enhancements, Farafenni Primary School is now better equipped to support the educational needs of its community.

Agricultural and Fishing Initiatives

The Chaku Bantang Diaspora Network Association is deeply committed to supporting local agriculture and fishing activities. We empower women by assisting them in cultivating vegetables, which are then sold to support their families and the community. Additionally, we aid in local fishing efforts, helping to provide fresh, sustainable seafood. These initiatives not only boost the local economy but also promote food security and self-sufficiency within the communities.

Renovation of Farafenni Mauritani Lower Basic School

Farafenni Mauritani Lower Basic School, the second oldest in Farafenni, faced urgent renovation needs. The Chaku Bantang Diaspora Network Association stepped in, repairing roofs for four classrooms, renovating and tiling sixteen toilets, and maintaining desks. With a total cost of D353,800 for materials and labor, these efforts have significantly enhanced the school's infrastructure, creating a safer and more conducive learning environment for both staff and students.

Set-Setal Exercises in the Communities of Chakubantang

The Chaku Bantang Diaspora Network Association also takes pride in its Set-Setal exercises, dedicated to community cleanliness and environmental improvement. Our team regularly engages in cleaning streets and gutters, and planting trees throughout Farafenni and Chakubantang. These efforts not only beautify the communities but also promote health and sustainability. By fostering a cleaner, greener environment, we are helping to improve the quality of life for all residents.
